Chaga
Chaga has been used for a long time for its high levels of antioxidants, and to regulate gut microbiota. Chaga has also been shown to inhibit oxidative DNA & RNA damage. A study shows that Chaga grown in Finland tested to have the highest concentration of β-(1,3)-(1,6)-D-glucans and triterpenoid compounds.
With alcohol and ultrasonic assisted extraction, we also make sure the non-water soluble compounds (f.ex. triterpenoids) are made bioavailable.
Our foraging network harvests Chaga in organic certified forests of Lapland, Finland.

Liquid extract made from 100% Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) conks. Extract contains 25% alcohol.
1:1 extract powder made from 100% Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) conks. 1:1 extract powder includes spray dried extract powder with the conk fiber.
Through ultrasonication, the mushroom (chitin) cell walls are broken in order to increase bioavailability of compounds. Ultrasonic assisted water and alcohol extraction guarantees that our mushroom extracts have the full spectrum of bioactive compounds.

Chaga
Chaga is grown in Lapland in organic certified forests. The harsh weather conditions producine potent chaga conks full of medicinal compounds. Once collected, the chaga conks are transported to KÄÄPÄ Headquarters for processing and manufacturing.
